Lierna, a poetic but little-known village overlooking Lake Como, was recently quoted in an article from the Huffingtonpost, among the unknown places on Lake Como you must see.

This village has an extremely strategic position, overlooking the Lake Como. It is full of services and facilities including a bar, restaurant, pharmacy, mini market, grocery, tobacco shop and ferry service; it allows you to fully enjoy your holiday without having to move. It also has a railway station, three minutes from the apartments, that allows you to reach the nearest points of interest such as, for example, Lecco, Varenna and Bellano. If, however, you want to enjoy the show of the lake from above, why not choose the famous wayfarer’s trail?

Bellagio

The village most well-known on the rivers of Lake Como is home to the beautiful gardens of Villa Melzi and Villa Serbelloni, which are open to the public. It’s easy to reach by ferry from Lierna and Varenna.
